Labour Claims Election Fraud In Slough

According to The Slough & Windsor Observer, Slough Labour party has alledged voting fraud in yesterday's local election. The article reports that they have complained to police and Slough Borough Council that an alleged voting fraud has cost a councillor of 24 years her seat. Lydia Simmons (left) lost the Central Ward to Conservative Eshaq Khan by 116 votes but Labour is demanding an investigation. Labour has claimed that 19 voters who cast their ballot were registered at a derelict house with 14 others listed at one address in Diamond Road alone. Chairman of the local Labour party, Safdar Ali, said: "We are taking legal advice."
