We recently received a comment sent to this blogsite on behalf of Ms. Hettie Peters.Following further investigation, we wish to issue a sincere apology to Ms. Peters and to remove certain published material from this site.
Ms. Peters has asked us to issue the following statement, which we are pleased to publish.
I have never been declared bankrupt by any court in this or any other country. I have never been found guilty of fraud and nor have I ever been acquitted of fraud in the courts of this or any other country.
The “Hackney Gazette” newspaper, which has published similar comments on more than one occasion, has recently apologised and has undertaken not to repeat such publication.
In the event that anyone henceforth publishes these or any similar false and wicked allegations I shall not hesitate to take prompt and effective legal action to seek substantial damages for defamation.
