This was the warning issued by West Midlands Police as part of their campaign try to prevent election fraud. Posters and leaflets have been produced highlighting how voters should take care of their vote and the consequences of not doing so.
The leaflets are being distributed across the force area in the run up to next week's elections. The main area for concern is "vote farming" - the practice of collecting up voting papers from electors and countersigning the envelopes centrally before delivering them en masse.
